So this weekend we helped with a Breast Cancer Benefit fundraiser and I just wanted to share some quick pics and thoughts! There was such a great turn out and it felt amazing to be a involved and to be a part in it all!
I baked dozens upon dozens of baked goods to sell and an amazing group of guys--and their amazing significant others--set up a toy truck/car races. Everyone that participated paid an entrance fee--but it was ALL donated, everything from the entrance fees to the food, raffle, etc! It was heart warming to see how 'into' it these grown men got. I mean look just a couple of the cars! How cute are they?!
Even watching was sooo fun! It looked like a real life version of Mario Kart, I told Steve next time I want to try, lol!
On a more serious note, always remember that although you are one person--you can make a huge difference, especially when partnered with the right networks...the result is just beyond words! and always take a moment to step back from your own life and think about someone else--being busy just isn't an excuse, we're all busy! Take a moment to think about when the last time you gave back was...
