All my Pier1 freebies from today! All this for under one dolla! & I was excited because a few of the things (cute piggie pan scraper & the paper lantern) I needed anyway, so it saved me some money! & I got the extras too! I needed the paper lantern for another project for the girls room, so I was excited about that! Yey!

& thanks to my wonderful hubby for coming with me so he could double my bargains, lol. Muah! Oh & my dentist appointment is done & out of the way! Thankful to check that off the list!

Smoothies for my babes!

Got a jump start this morning with some smoothies! Nothing exciting here today--just focusing on getting A LOT of my to do list accomplished!

This mommy needs to get some appointments to take care of ME out of the way! So off for a dental check up tomorrow, an optometry appointment soon, & then an appointment to meet with my academic advisor! Ready to get these things done & out of the way! :)

Look at that pretty, sweet, innocent, CAVITY FREE :) smile! She's smiling...because she's happy, right? :)


This is interesting, because when we were at the dentist today--they had this old article cut out from a beauty magazine on the wall. All about this woman sorting through her pictures...she didn't have a single one of her smiling, only her with her mouth closed, maybe smirking, but no smiles at all. How sad huh? The article went on about how this woman was always telling everyone how happy she was, 'boasting', etc. Then in the end...it came out, that...how happy had she been? What was she hiding? That she couldn't even show her own smile, because she was ashamed. She was ashamed because inside, she was an ugly person. Basically, that typical girl...that was mean to everyone. It went on about self confidence and about the true beauty of a smile, & not just a pretty smile, but a person smiling because they are truly happy...& they are confident in themselves, that they don't have anything to hide, they can show that smile proudly.  I mean really...if you are truly happy--is it even possible to NOT smile? To hold it back? To just smirk instead? Nah. I don't think so. Kind of a feel good story for those that were good people inside, that didn't fight back to that "mean" girl, who in the end, was the unhappy one.

Moral of the story, people know. You're not fooling anyone...people can tell if you're 'truly' happy--or pretending to be happy. Everyone around her knew. She might have tricked a select few along the way--but,  I see that there's something hiding, & most people do. People can tell by your smile...and really, if there is no smile at all...it's kind of a dead give away. You're not happy. Happy, confident, people smile. It's a natural reaction. So...smile people. Smiling people=happy people. Smile because you are beautiful, inside and out--most importantly BE beautiful...on the inside! I'd be one sad sad woman if I knew that if I passed today, that there wouldn't be a picture of me smiling, not even just NONE but even if just the bulk of them..I wasn't smiling. Luckily, that won't happen.

 I've got NOTHING to hide, I'm a happy girl. :D

Had a simple relaxing day at home today!

Dates with our girls!

Today we split up and did dates with our girls, me & Alexa did a little shopping, while Daddy & Ava went to see a movie! We all had fun :) Then we met up for some yummy lunch! Now we're back home & going to curl up with some movies and a pizza!

& we worked on getting these bookshelves ready....can't wait!

Had a relaxing morning at home, watched Beauty & the Beast with all my loves! & Now Steve is off for an appt and I'm about to get the girls down for a nap so that we can head out to the pool when Steve gets home! Starting the weekend early, again! ♥

Oh Ava.

Well, this was supposed to be a picture of my free Target card, yey! But, Ava decided to try to steal it from me, so, that didn't work out so well. So, instead, pictures of Miss Ava stealing my Target card! (that we of course got, after, we got home from Target, lol)

Got a belly FULL of sushi, some new sephora goodies to play with, and two sleeping girls! & today is our Friday because Steve has off tomorrow, eep!

Busy, much?!

Yep. That time at the bottom is correct, only 10 AM here in sunny CA.

Before I started cloth diapering...a lady told me, "If you think you have a lot of laundry now...I dare you to try cloth diapering" I will never forget the word she said "dare". Now. I get it. I totally get it. Lol.

anyway, diapers are WASHED, folded, and put away in their baskets.



I made and froze some sandwiches for Miss Ava.




and...lunch and dinner is prepared and ready to just be popped into the oven, and the mess cleaned up.




While, entertaining my two precious baby girls, nursing, making breakfast, changing diapers, oh you know, the usual ;) And before I catch my breath, I might as well go work out!
