Lots of this:
= lots of this!
I'm sure you all probably notice I have been more...absent? lately. I am keeping busy--but loving it. I feel accomplished, motivated, confident, and
happy! I am getting used to the idea of being back in school and while being a mommy will always be my main priority, it is also nice to take some time for me and to feel that sense of accomplishment. I feel like I am showing the girls that they can have it all, but they have to work hard for it. They see me study and they want to study too. They see my happiness when I do well and they share in that happiness. They see me working towards a goal and I think that is important for all of us. It honestly melts my heart to hear a little 3 year old tell me how proud she is after I do well on a test, lol.
thoughts on confidence:
(a friend shared this quote the other day ♥)
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.' We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we're liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
"Never dull your shine for somebody else"
true friends always rejoice in your happiness and success--and if they don't...they simply aren't your friends. Don't become a watered down version of yourself--always let your inner light shine. Always be you, with pride.
