still playing around a bit. My normal subjects are napping, so I had to use the hubby and some crayons instead :) Alright, back to enjoying some time off with the hubbs! Hopefully I will get some more time to play and figure out this lens tomorrow! :)

Today I spent part of the girls nap time making some raviolis to freeze up for them! & of course, I snapped some pics quick :)








& Kitchen fun fact of the day. WOODEN SPOONS DO NOT GO IN THE DISHWASHER! Ahhhh I hate seeing wooden spoons that have went in the dishawasher! :/ Poor wooden babies :( Dishwashers will make them look...gross! They are meant to be hand washed, oiled, and loved! Lol! ♥ my wooden spoons!

How many days?

Yep, I will be getting fiveeee days with my loves this weekend! Steve has Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, anddddd Monday off! :) Such a lucky girl I am! But since tomorrow is our Friday--I'm trying to get everything around the house finished up for our long weekend, can't wait! ♥ that man of mine!

Spent the day relaxing at home with my loves! We enjoyed some time in the pool & then grilled some yummy pizzas!

Bless-ed Day

Packed up the family for a trip to Orange County today. One of those special days where all you can do is realize how blessed you are. Me & this amazing family of mine are right where we belong. Every where I turn. I just smile...I am surrounded by SO many amazing things, there is no denying it! Perfection. ♥

Cuddle day!

More hospital time today, but, on the bright side I was ordered to go home and snuggle up in bed for the rest of the day :) I was thankful to have my love bugs there with me & some movies to keep us entertained!

spent the day in the hospital today. Lovely! Wait till you see my big ole lump and black eye :/ lol. Really, it's not funny, but I guess there's not much to do besides laugh!

Had a nice day of shopping this morning. Came home, put my girls down for their naps...go out to garden....and my lillies are GONE! O_o they were justtt there when I got home. So I guess someone either came and picked them all..or something ate them :( Sad. Luckily most of the other flowers are still there :/ and my bitty grapes! can't wait to eat themmm!

Proud to be Productive!

Oh freezer cooking. How I love you so! Because instead of feeding my family quick crap like spaghetti o's, I can give them a good meal, that's still just as quick. It's a win-win!

Today I accomplished some homemade full size pizzas for us as a family, I can easily survive without a store bought frozen pizza. These actually cook even faster and taste better and are ten times healthier :) I also did up some veggie purees for Alexa & muffins for Ava.

Ava is also running low on some quick lunches--so I made a to do list for the rest of the week, shouldn't be too bad & we'll be stocked up for awhile :)



anddd, last but not least, we got the window panels in today & I think they will work perfectly :) Just need to pick out a nice rod for them this weekend!

I hate to brag but me & my hubby make quiteee the team! ♥ Now to find the perfect placement for their bookshelves, hmm!

Lots to do today!

We had lots to do today! I got some coffee to give me an extra kick, then we were off for groceries at the commissary. Which is my new favorite spot to coupon! They do most of the work for you, which is nice! Today we stocked up on FREE pasta!

finished the hardware, I love the colors together, it is going to go really well with the other stuff I had got for the room already :) Can't wait for the window panels to come in! Alright, Miss Ava is feeling better today, time to get out of this house!!! :)

Craiglist dresser project! :)

This dresser needs some touching up, but I figured it would make for the perfect project dresser! Some of the hardware is falling off, and the paint needs touched up, but nothing too crazy! But I loved the shape and detailing and that it would fit perfectly & the best part was the price! So, here goes our project! Hubby's going to help, of course! & the second best part, was that we got the paint a few months ago for 3 dolla as one of the gallons Home Depot sets out that they mismatched! So, the entire thing comes in at under $40 :)




Ava says "Oh my! What is a princess to do with a boring white dresser?!" Lol. :)


anddd the painting is done, still have to finish up painting the hardware!

Well, we're supposed to be at daddy's work picnic right now :/ buttt I have a sick little baby girl on my hands today, so we will be staying put--so just a quick picture of our honeysuckle :) I love this stuff, smells so good!!!
