An amazing friend of mine is officially cancer free! She is such a huge inspiration to me and I couldn't be more thrilled with this news, definitely called for a celebration!!! We picked up some adorable macarons on the way!



Ava made a new little friend and had tons of fun dressing up, lol. Lex on the other hand was too busy trying to run up the stairs, haha! We don't have stairs so she was just so in "awe" of them!



Such a great day and we were so excited to be part of Amy's big day! Nothing better to celebrate that LIFE! Amy is such a fighter and I'm so happy for her!!!!

San Diego Trip!

Hubby got some days off work so we decided to head down to San Diego for a long weekend! It's always nice to just pack up and get out of town for a bit and it was just what we needed! Relaxing and refreshing!!!

We were down there for Cinco De Mayo so we decided to head to Lucha Libre, it was delicious! We saw it on an episode on Food Network and were so excited to try it out! Look how cute the inside was! Pink!

then we finally got Hubby to Stone Brewery! This is his favorite local beer and he has always wanted to go down to see the actual Brewery, it was really neat!

Our Sweet Girl is 4! ♥

Well, world...my little baby girl is officially 4! Why does 4 seem so much older than 3?! It's hard to not be just a little sad that the time has flown so fast, but every day with this sweet girl is a blessing and we are grateful for each day! She brings us so much happiness and joy and we can't imagine what life would be like without our precious girls!

Dear Ava,

Someday you'll read this and we want you to know...

You are a ray of light, you bring this world and everyone who meets you so much happiness.

You have a way with words at even the age of 4, I cannot even imagine the charm you will have when you are older. 

You are so caring, you write me and Daddy love letters every.single.day. and hide them in little places for us to find them--all just to see our smiles after. There is nothing that makes me more proud than seeing how caring and thoughtful you are. You have the biggest heart of anyone I know. 

You love to dance, any kind of dance. You get so excited to go to ballet and jazz and we love seeing how happy it makes you. 

You love your family. Your smile is so contagious and you can light up a room with it.You love macarons. You love books.You love to play dress up. You love pizza. You love fairytales, happy endings, and flowers. You love helping mommy in the kitchen and daddy in the garage. You can truly do anything you set your mind to.

Please never lose that big heart of yours, it is capable of doing big things.
